I appreciated having my own space in this tiny community. When placing a reservation request, please enter the exact number of your party, including everyone. Nearby fields fill with thousands of migrating waterfowl late fall through mid winter. Charming space heaters; window AC unit in the bedroom; evaporative cooler and ceiling fan in the main living area. Very quiet and peaceful. We don't have a cleaning staff and don't charge a cleaning fee. If you're looking for a pleasant night's sleep on a quiet road about 40 minutes from downtown Sacramento, try our cottage!
Available for day meetings, workshops, retreats I also offer jewelry-making classes to guests who are interested if the timing works out. The dining table could probably sit 12 or more!! Check out downtown, it's got some great little places. Veggie and herb garden for your picking pleasure, fresh fruit and flowers in season, peace and quiet! We keep lots of books on local history in the cottage, as well as a binder of info on available activities. No animals in the space and no pets permitted with guests Lots of interesting bird visitors year-round. The space I stayed in didn't match the picture so you may want to inquire before hand to confirm. Not only are they a fire hazard, but we have cleaned wax off the table made by our late dad, off the painted floor, off the rug, etc. Everyone loved the peacefulness of the grounds as well as the uniquely decorated cottage. No pets are allowed. I would definitely love to stay here again. Very quiet and peaceful. It was a great base for the places we had to go. It was a real shame we could not spend more time with Erica, but she had to travel to visit her son during our stay. Because they have chickens, the group was treated to fresh eggs! We felt right at home. Upon arrival, there was milk, juice, and fresh fruit in the spacious and well-appointed kitchen. The Toyota Amphitheater is about 4 miles away, as the crow flies. Erica communicated promptly and politely before my trip as I had to arrange for a package to be delivered to her home while I was staying with her. No stairs leading to, or inside of, the space; there is a long footpath of stepping stones across our large yard to reach the space. Erica and Pete were great hosts and nothing was too much for them. Spring and fall are fantastic times to visit! The open floor plan is perfect for a family since it allows interaction while cooking or relaxing on the couch. The apartment was a very good size, set in a wonderful garden which was full of fruit trees which we were encouraged to pick. I had a lovely time, and I'd recommend Farm Fresh to anyone!
